trailer bedroom styling

This was such a fun project!! It’s a flipped trailer, and they just needed a hand pulling this bedroom together and figuring out some better organization. It’s a shared boy and girl bedroom so we wanted to keep it pretty neutral.

We knew we wanted to wallpaper inside the bunk bed space, so I started the design by picking out this jungle print. It was the statement piece for me to play of off. Then, once we figured out some storage solutions, there was some room for this fun bean bag chair! I tried to make their beds feel like individual spaces, so I coordinated the bedding to the pattern but didn’t match them and I think it turned out perfect!

I hoped that we would have enough wallpaper to do half of this wall with the hooks. But we didn’t. It turned into an opportunity to get creative and I’m SO glad now. I matched the wallpaper with ‘Magnolia Freshly cut Stems’ paint and got a sample for $5, I traced out a half circle and leveled the tape all the way down, then filled it in! It was fun, inexpensive, and added so much character. we used command-type hooks to avoid using screws in the trailer walls and they seemed like they would hold up well! Of course I would recommend using an anchor with a screw in any other case!

You guys know how much I’m loving travel pennant flags right now! I even found some OR locations, which I thought was fitting to use in the trailer! And then these acrylic shelf bins might be my favorite part. You could use them for books or toys, they’re perfect if you don’t have a lot of floor space! I added the tall stool and the rug. And they already had these cool books to finish it off!

I love a challenge, I love working with small spaces, I love working in a budget. I think it stretches my creativity and turns me into a better designer every time I do it. So thankful for this opportunity, it was seriously so fun!

We’re booking for this summer!! As always you can message me with any questions!
